The idea is that you get what you focus on and that each of us must choose for ourselves what deserves our attention. So when people say, “You’re sticking your head in the sand,” I interpret that to mean, “You’re not paying attention to something I consider really important, so I will slam you in an attempt to wrest your attention back to my issue.” Nobody ever said training to be a wizard wouldn’t have its challenges. *grin*
