Laundromats and Frost

Yay – posting photos again! I took the first shot in a small laundromat nearby. (What else is there to do in a laundromat except play with your camera?) The late afternoon sun was coming directly in the room and created some neat criss crossing lines and grids. The second image is a macro shot of frost (ice crystals) on the really old and dry wood of the ancient hitching post that’s in front of the house. I liked how the ice formed along the lines of the woodgrain that hadn’t yet rotted away. Huh – I guess there’s a line/perspective theme of sorts going on here.
