To get this photo, I actually bent down, put the camera near the ground, and hoped for the best. Imagine my surprise when it actually turned out to be in focus! We get a number of mushrooms around here after it rains – they pop up out of cow plops all the time too, it’s pretty funny. Our landlord was telling us that he used to gather mushrooms in the area, but as he was telling me this, he couldn’t remember which were the ones that you shouldn’t eat! Ayup. I think it’s probably a good thing that he’d stopped his mushroom gathering habit many years ago – that kind of thing might be safer just as a fireside tale. *grin*
