Okay, the Puzzle Square thing in a previous post was technically my first Escher-esque design, but THIS one is the first one using the more popularly known single shape and single direction tesselation method. *grin* (Tessellation refers to a mosaic type setup – I looked it up to be sure. I mean, if I was going to be using a big four syllable word, I should know what it specifically means, right? Heh.)
I feel pretty lucky that this came out the way it did – as with a lot of art projects, it never really seems like something I PURPOSEFULLY did that made it what it was.
And on a purely commercial note, you can get this design on shirts, pillows, journals, cards, etc. by clicking here, and this design’s also available as 4″x5″, 8″x10″, and even 16″x20″ prints by clicking here.
