Sometimes when I’m watching the Simpsons, I try to picture the voice actor
at a microphone saying the lines. This was particularly amusing in the
episode where SideShow Bob follows the Simpsons to their new houseboat
when the government relocates them because he’s trying to kill Bart. At
one point Bob says, “Surely, there’s no harm in laying in the middle of a
public street!” And then along comes a parade and SideShow Bob gets
stepped on and trampled in all kinds of ways, making odd exclamatory and
grunting noises with each incident. It just struck me as funny to imagine
Kelsey Grammar at the microphone making all of those noises. *grin* (No,
I DON’T have a life – why do you ask?)
