This morning as I listened to the wind and felt the cool breeze flow through the house, I remembered how much I loved swinging on our swingset when I was a kid. It was the cool air, the constant movement of the air – on your face, against the back of your head, then on your face again. Simple repetitive motions that free the mind – old thoughts are caught on the rush of wind and blown away. Too much stillness makes me crazy – I need a fan blowing if there’s no wind. I can’t just float in the water, I need to swim and move, even if just a bit. Exchanging energy between myself and my environment perpetually.
