Look up! “The Perseid Meteor Shower is now underway. Every hour, 10 or so meteors are streaking from the constellation Perseus, and that number will increase 3- to 5-fold on Wednesday night, August 11th, when the shower peaks.” They say it’s a good year for the Perseids because there’s a new moon, and on the 12th, dust from Comet Swift-Tuttle will be drifting across earth’s orbit, adding more great visuals.
