Yesterday we finally drove down to find the other end of our country road. It went from a paved two lane to a paved one lane that curved closely around rocky outcroppings and dropoffs, to an unpaved one lane – that’s where we turned around and came back. We were going to continue on but we were all really hungry and were pretty damn sure we weren’t going to run into any McDonalds if we continued in that direction. Oh, and in a word to the wise that’s surely COMPLETLY unrelated to the topic of this thread, don’t believe the mileage listed on the results page for this McD Locator – check the ‘drive it’ link before you get too excited. And, no, you don’t need a GOOD reason to go on a road trip! *grin*
