Our yard isn’t really a yard – well, it doesn’t have a ‘lawn’ per se. It’s mostly just sandy dirt – in the summer it’s dirt with some dead, beige weeds in the corners, and in the winter, it’s soft, semi-squishy sandy dirt with green steadily encroaching on the bare spots, except where we usually drive the car (the yard is also the driveway, except for the beforementioned corners). Well, we had a serious rain last week and today I noticed that there’s a little green around the edges of our dirt farm! *grin* Time to do the Dance of Joy! (Yes, Mom, you always told me I was easily amused.)
